One of the most aggressive linemen in northeast Ohio has made a decision about his future and he won’t go far.
Eastlake North’s aggressive 4-star tackle Ryan Bear officially signed up to the University of Pittsburgh on Thursday. One high school announced its announcement on its mother’s birthday, calling her “one of the most important people in my life.”
“It wouldn’t be possible without my mom,” Bear wrote on Twitter. “Thanks to all East Lake North team-mates and coaches who have made me not only a better player but a better man over the past four years.”
Bear, the All Ohio first-team honor as a junior, is currently ranked the 31st offensive tackle nationwide by 247Sports overall. The 6’7,320-pound giant had offers from more than 20 other Division I programs, including Notre Dame, Michigan State University, and Virginia Tech.

Bear was one of four Northeastern Ohio Football players in the 2022 class and had four stars through 247.
