It comes after dozens of Pagans Motorcycle Club members and staff are charged with drug trafficking through western Pennsylvania.
US attorney Scott Brady says the pagans used force to control the cocaine, heroin and meth trafficking in Allegheny, Westmoreland, Erie, Fayette and Washington counties. Thirty people were charged on three separate charges that were unsealed on Tuesday.
According to Brady, search warrants resulted in the seizure of 12 firearms, “significant amounts” of drugs and $ 28,000 in cash and jewelry.
“Today’s dismantling is the latest victory in our fight against the destruction and dismantling of the violent drug gangs that operate in western Pennsylvania,” says Brady. “Thanks to the relentless efforts of law enforcement, you and your loved ones are safer today than yesterday. It’s a good day for the good. “
According to Brady, the Pagans Motorcycle Club is one of the most violent motorcycle gangs in the United States, and the FBI estimates there are over 1,500 members in 41 chapters across the country.
All 30 accused members are in federal custody.
