four vie for the Pumpkin Competition Queen Contest 2021

Four students from Turkeyfoot Valley High School have been selected to participate in the PumpkinFest Queen program in 2021. On September 30th at 6.30 p.m. there will be a pageant in the school auditorium, during which a girl will be crowned queen.

Princess Mallori Marina McCarty-Cameron is a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. She is the daughter of Charles Cameron and Stacey McCarty. She is on the school’s softball team and on the student council. She also holds the title of Class Officer and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is also part of the prom committee and art club. In her free time, she loves rafting, hiking, yoga, reading, painting and gardening. She plans to go to college after high school to study history or environmental science. She would like to add that she has been working at the Laurel Highlands Outdoor Center for three years.

McCarty-Cameron is accompanied by Ricky Fazenbaker.

Payj Marie Hostetler

Princess Payj Marie Hostetler is a senior at Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. She is the daughter of Rachel and Robert Hostetler. She plays basketball and softball and is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Prom Committee. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, fishing, hiking and kayaking. She attends the United Community Church of God. After high school, she plans to study history at the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown, Frostburg or Waynesburg. She would also like to add that she has worked for several local businesses including Mitch’s Fuel and Food as well as Ohiopyle Prints.

Trinity Jean Hyatt

Princess Trinity Jean Hyatt is a junior at Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. She is the daughter of Jeannie and Chad Hyatt. She is part of the student council, the prom committee and the art association. She is also a cheerleader and in the choir. In her free time, she enjoys competition dancing, cheering and painting. She also likes to read. She is a member of the Ursina Church of God. After high school, she plans to attend a performing arts college in California.

Abigail Dawn Fazenbaker

Princess Abigail Dawn Fazenbaker is a junior girl at Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School. She is the daughter of Christie and Owen Fazenbaker. She attends SCTC for Health Professions and is also a member of SADD. In her free time, she likes to read, bake and write in a diary. She is a member of the Confluence United Methodist Church. After school, she plans to attend a nursing school.

Fazenbaker is accompanied by Michael Busch.
