Fuel station robbed by 2 males with weapons within the South Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh – WPXI
PITTSBURGH – A gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning in Pittsburgh’s South Oakland neighborhood, police said.
A worker told investigators that two masked men with guns asked for cash around 3:15 a.m. at Sunoco on Craft Avenue. One of the robbers had a rifle and the other a handgun.
The robbers took an unknown amount of money from a register before they escaped, the police said. You were last seen in Kennett Square towards Ophelia Street.
No one was injured and no shots were fired, police said.
University of Pittsburgh police were also called in to the raid, although it did not happen on Pitt’s campus.
