PITTSBURGH – A woman was found shot dead on a street in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood early Monday morning, police said.

Police and paramedics were dispatched to Blackadore Avenue after receiving a ShotSpotter alert around 2:30 a.m.

Officials who were the first to arrive at the scene found the woman lying on the street and provided help until the ambulance service arrived, the police said.

The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition.

The police have no suspects as they are investigating the shooting.
