Moraine State Park Regatta to return Aug. 6-8

MUDDY CREEK TWP. — The Moraine State Park Regatta is set to make its return this weekend.

Moraine State Park was officially dedicated on May 23, 1970, which meant event organizers originally planned to celebrate the park’s 50th anniversary in 2020.

However, since last year’s regatta was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s festivities will be celebrating the 50th + 1 anniversary.

Organizers will also be changing up the theme of the event by focusing on eco-recreation and promoting the park, by offering different forms of outdoor recreational activities.

The event will also feature different food and non-food vendors as well.
