Good Friday 2021: What’s Open, Closed In and Round Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, PA – Some Allegheny Counties will be closed on Friday to mark Good Friday.
Pennsylvania Fifth Judicial District offices and judicial offices, including the district attorney’s office, the sheriff’s office, the Department of Court Records, and the county council, will be closed.
The treasurer’s and controller’s office is open. The real estate and civil litigation areas will be open in the sheriff’s office.

The passport office for marriage certificates is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The North Park and South Park golf courses are open during normal hours (morning through evening).
Special Events is running “Drive-In Movies” for a free “Hop” (PG) showing in Boyce Park Wave Pool Parking Lot. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at dusk. This event is free and is given based on availability. The capacity is limited to 100 vehicles per film.
The City of Pittsburgh offices and Citipark facilities will be closed on Friday.
The rubbish, bulk waste and recycling collection on Friday continues as planned. However, the recycling facilities in the DPW departments will be closed.
The facilities and distribution plans of the Citiparks will be influenced from April 2nd to 4th: senior centers and recreation centers will be closed on Friday. The regular Grab ‘n Go meal schedule will resume on April 5th.
