WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Health Department states that mechanical issues are responsible for issues at the free COVID-19 testing site established in Kennywood today.

According to a spokesman for the district, the test car had mechanical problems. Workers spent hours trying to fix the problem but were forced to close the test site.

Due to mechanical issues, COVID-19 testing at Kennywood has been discontinued today. ACHD will contact those with scheduled appointments with other testing options. It should be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The county spokesman says they are working with Curative, the company that would have run the tests to take in patients who have registered to have a test done.

You can also reschedule your appointment by visiting the county’s COVID-19 test map.
