PITTSBURGH – A man was shot dead in the Homewood North neighborhood of Pittsburgh late Thursday evening and told police the woman who pulled the trigger took off into the woods.

The shooting was reported just after 11 p.m. along Brushton Avenue.

The man who was shot in the stomach was taken to hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

The police are investigating.
