Pandemics have been a struggle for many, and Michael Burrotos was one of those struggles. According to Burlotos, Burlotos had just moved to Atlanta before the pandemic for a financial technology job broke out. He felt isolated and wanted to do something that would bring him happiness. “I’ve completely changed my way of life. It’s about filling my life with experience, not with things, ”said Brurotos. He cooked outside, showered at Planet Fitness, and parked his car in the Wal-Mart lot, but after the trip, Burrotos sold his car and many belongings, left his apartment, and remodeled. I decided to live on a school bus. The bathroom resembles a small house with WiFi, kitchen, bath, queen-size bed and sofa. “It’s such a rich experience that I couldn’t replace it,” he said. Burlotos just moved to Atlanta before the pandemic to get a job in financial technology. He felt isolated and wanted to do something that would bring him happiness.

So Burrotos and his Siberian Husky Bailey decided to take to the streets and head west. He cooked outside, showered at Planet Fitness, and parked his car in Wal-Mart’s parking lot.
After the trip, however, Burrotos decided to sell his car and many belongings, clean up his apartment, and live in a converted school bus. The bathroom resembles a small house and has WiFi, kitchen, bath, queen-size bed and sofa.
“It was such a rich experience that I couldn’t replace it,” he said.
Brurotos isn’t the only one delving into mobile life. This has become a popular trend on TikTok.
“I think COVID has given people perspective on what really matters,” he said.
Burlotos says he parks in Wal-Mart’s parking lot, a campground that allows night parking and breaks. There is no end date to end the trip, but there is some advice for anyone interested in such a lifestyle.
“Life is too short. Do what makes you happy,” said Brurotos.
