Paws Throughout Pittsburgh Celebrates fifth Anniversary by Rescuing 30 Animals – WPXI
TARENTUM – A local animal rescue facility celebrated its 5th anniversary on Saturday by doing what it did best and saving animals.
Paws Across Pittsburgh started the anniversary with the arrival of nearly 30 animals from Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.
The rescue is carried out exclusively by volunteers and provides medical care and helps in finding a “forever home” for cats and dogs. It works on a foster model, ie the animals live with foster families until they are adopted.
