The 43-year-old Pittsburgh man dies after being hit by an industrial container within the RIDC Park aromatics retailer
A 43-year-old Pittsburgh man died after being hit by an industrial container full of liquid in O’Hara RIDC Park on Friday morning.
Allegheny County Police Department said Jason D’Alicandro was working at Alpha Aromatics on Alpha Drive in RIDC Park when he was hit by an industrial bag containing 330 gallons of fluid.
Rescue workers were notified shortly after 10:30 a.m. D’Alicandro was taken to a local hospital where police claim he was dead.
The investigation was handed over to the Federal Agency for Safety and Health at Work (OSHA).
