Picklesburgh is back this weekend

Cucumber lovers, rejoice – Picklesburgh is taking place in downtown Pittsburgh this weekend. This year’s event takes place on the weekend of August 20-22 at Andy Warhol Bridge and Fort Duquesne Boulevard. Picklesburgh is a cucumber-related festival. The event includes food, live music, pickle cocktails, pickle beers, DIY soaking demonstrations, a pickle juice drinking contest, and a kids’ playground – it all. This will be the sixth Picklesburgh in town. The 2020 event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. In recent years the summer event took place on the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Cucumber lovers, rejoice – Picklesburgh is taking place in downtown Pittsburgh this weekend.
This year’s event takes place on the weekend of August 20-22 at Andy Warhol Bridge and Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
Picklesburgh is a cucumber-related festival. The event includes food, live music, cucumber cocktails, cucumber beer, DIY pickling demonstrations, a cucumber juice drinking contest, and a children’s playground.
The giant 35-foot Heinz Pickle balloon was inflated Thursday and will be the center of attention again.
This will be the sixth Picklesburgh in town. The 2020 event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In previous years, the summer event took place on the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
