Pittsburgh man arrested, charged with manslaughter in Hawaii – WPXI
HAWAII – A Pittsburgh man and a Massachusetts man were arrested and charged with manslaughter after a fight resulted in a fatal outcome at a Hawaii hotel.
According to the Hawaii Island police, 37-year-old Benjamin Fleming from Pittsburgh and 31-year-old Alexander Germany-Wald from Boston have been arrested and are being held in a local jail after an argument in the apartment.
Investigators said shortly after 2 a.m. on Monday dispatch was called about a man who was unresponsive and not breathing in Kailua-Kona. The officers arrived and began CPR on the victim. Police said these efforts were “unsuccessful”.
Preliminary evidence is that a verbal argument became physical.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
