Pittsburgh’s Metropolis County Constructing Illuminated in Honor of Juneteenth – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With many celebrations going on on Saturday for June 10th, Pittsburgh’s City-County Building was also lit in honor of the holiday.

The building was illuminated in red, green, and gold.

That evening, #Pittsburgh’s seat of government – the historic City County building – is illuminated in red, green, and gold as we recognize the #Junieenth.

In Pittsburgh, Juneteenth 2020 has been recognized as an official city holiday, with the federal government officially recognizing the holiday for the first time this year.
