AKRON, Ohio (AP) – A young girl has died from injuries she sustained in a toboggan accident last weekend, and her father has also died.
Jared Zuercher had a massive heart attack when he arrived at the hospital to see his daughter.

Fourteen-year-old Akron’s Eirelyn Zuercher suffered a “harmful brain injury” on Saturday while tobogganing on the Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation in Medina County.

Cleveland.com reports that the teenager’s mother announced her death on social media after being released from life support.
The post did not provide details about the toboggan accident, but found that the girl was an organ donor and was helping five people.
