Harrisburg (KDKA) – The Pennsylvania Department of Health reports 557 new reports of one coronavirus case and one more death.

This has resulted in 1,218,975 cases and 27,820 COVID-19-related deaths across the state since the pandemic began.
The COVID-19 hospital has 347 people and 75 patients in intensive care nationwide.
According to the state, the total dose of the vaccine is 11,495,999 times, with 5,648,861 people fully vaccinated. To date, 62.2% of Pennsylvania 18 and over have been fully vaccinated.
All Pennsylvanians 16 and over are eligible for a vaccination and are eligible for a Pfizer vaccine. Expanded to children ages 12-15 on May 10th.

To date, 4,867,834 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
Across the state there are 72,158 residents and 15,609 employees in licensed long-term care facilities and personal nursing homes. Of all deaths, 13,383 were residents of long-term care or personal care facilities.
The state also reports that 29,237 health care workers were diagnosed with COVID-19 during the pandemic.
