Steelers’ JuJu Smith-Schuster leaves a message for town of Pittsburgh when he meets the free company
PITTSBURGH – JuJu Smith-Schuster’s days as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers may come to an end this week as the broad receiver goes free hand to market
The 2018 Pro Bowler came to Pittsburgh as part of a room that included Antonio Brown and Martavias Bryant. After four years, he finished his first NFL contract with 308 receptions, 3,726 yards and 26 touchdowns, including a career high of nine in 2020.
Using social media to thank the City of Pittsburgh for his time here, Smith-Schuster wrote, “No matter what happens this week, if I’m back or elsewhere, just know I’ll never see Pittsburgh like this.” Only 4 years of my life but part of who I am. “
Expectations remain low that Smith-Schuster will return to the Steelers this off-season. Considered one of the biggest names out there, the 24-year-old has already started interacting with fans online about where he’s going next.
