Similar to yesterday, most of today’s day will be dry, with the window reopening for strong storms after 6:00 p.m.

Stormy conditions may persist later than last night as a cold front sweeps through the state. I actually have the cold front that runs through between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
We’ll still have a chance of rain until it’s over.

Similar to yesterday, high winds will be the main concern when storms arrive later, but an almost equal concern will be with potential floods.
I don’t think we will see areas related to what we saw yesterday if there could be more than 4 inches of rain according to radar estimates.

Sums of well over an inch and perhaps over two inches should be possible without any problems.
Rain showers will continue overnight just before the cold front.
I have the cool front that passes through Pittsburgh before 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The city will have a chance of rain through the front passage
The high temperatures will now reach the mid to late 1980s.
The maximum values tomorrow with cooler and drier air will hardly rise again to 80 degrees. We’ll stay comfortably until Sunday.
