The Posner Basis presents $16 million to CMU – WPXI

PITTSBURGH — The Posner Foundation of Pittsburgh is gifting $16 million to Carnegie Mellon University for various efforts and initiatives.
The foundation invests in organizations, prioritizing initiatives related to the environment, human rights, education and Jewish life. It has extensive ties to the university, with a member of the Posner family having served on CMU’s Board of Trustees for the past 35 years, the creation of the Posner Center and through funding several endowed scholarships for students.
