GREENE TWP. – Chloe Velto, a senior at South Side High School. was named January Student of the Month by the South Side Education Association.
The daughter of Michael and Cheri Velto from Hanover Township, she was involved in the community college of the Beaver County Health Academy, the Summer Health Academy of the University of Pittsburgh, the Ohio Valley College of Technology Nursing Camp and the South Side Youth Ambassadors program South Side Varsity- Volleyball, musical stage crew and the National Honor Society.
Velto was inducted into the Distinguished Honor Roll throughout the high school and part-time presidential list at CCBC for Spring 2020. She received an Academic Excellence Award through the Challenge Program and the Governor’s Institute of Vermont Scholarship.
Upon graduation, Velto plans to attend college with an emphasis on global health and international relations.
