“Violent Criminals” from the streets to North Facet Raid – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police say a “violent criminal” disappeared from the street after a federal arrest warrant was issued on the north side over the weekend.

Pittsburgh Police, SWAT, US Marshals Service and ATF arrested 48-year-old Oronde Shelton on Saturday at the 200 block on Waldorf Street in Perry North.

After Shelton’s arrest, several firearms were recovered from the house, according to police.

“The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police would like to thank its local and federal law enforcement partners for their commitment to this investigation, which will bring a violent criminal off the street,” police said.

Shelton is currently in Allegheny County Jail facing a federal firearms violation for being a criminal in possession of ammunition.
