Nationals & Orioles baseball and Hokies basketball make up thousands of households in SW Virginia

MASN and Citizens have signed a promotion agreement that will bring Nationals and Orioles baseball to thousands of homes in southwest Virginia when it launches February 1st. The regional sports network is home to the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles baseball players 24/7, and broadcasts every available game live and in HD – more than 300 MLB events per year – as well as the exclusive pre- and post-game shows, Nats Xtra and O’s Xtra.

“MASN has been one of the most sought-after networks by our subscribers for a while,” said Lori Saltus, EVP for customer relations and marketing at Citizens. “We look forward to answering our customers’ inquiries with MASN and MASN2.”

In addition to its live Major League Baseball program, MASN offers over 175 NCAA football and basketball games, including Virginia Tech Hokies, national teams, and local favorites.

Upcoming Hokies games on MASN include:

* Wed, 2/3/21 7 p.m. Virginia Tech @ Pittsburgh (men)
* Thu, 2/4/21 7 p.m. Virginia Tech @ Pittsburgh (Women)
* Sat, 2/6/21 noon Virginia Tech @ Miami (men)

MASN and MASN 2 are transmitted on channels 168 and 169 of the Citizens’ Signature and Crest packets.

To make programming MASN even easier for fans, MASN is launching an app to stream the network on their smartphone, tablet or home computer.

MASN offers the ACC Sports Package, which includes all teams at the conference, including soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey and volleyball, as well as the first two rounds and quarter-finals of the ACC women’s basketball tournament and four rounds of the ACC baseball tournament.
